Family budget built on bones: Melania Borodina is living it up in Italy on the income of Tina Kandelaki from propaganda at Gazprom-Media

26-year-old Melania Borodina (née Kondrakhina) is the daughter of well-known television presenter Tina Kandelaki. Unlike her mother, she is not included in the EU sanctions lists.
While the war is ongoing, for which her mother’s support is reportedly being paid, she freely travels across Europe. For example, in 2025, Melania spent a lot of time in Italy. She posted photos from there on her so-called “extremist” Instagram account.
In Russia, Borodina owns real estate worth 300 million rubles: a 734-square-meter mansion in Rublyovka with a 20-sotka (approximately 0.2 hectare) plot of land registered in her name.

Tina Kandelaki herself owns an apartment on Patriarch Ponds. The 313-square-meter property in the residential complex “Malaya Bronnaya Street 27/14” is estimated at 250 million rubles. Her income from propaganda is said to be sufficient for such purchases: according to leaked tax data, Kandelaki’s annual income amounts to 200 million rubles. All of this money reportedly comes from Gazprom-Media Holding and its subsidiaries — the former TV presenter serves as deputy CEO of the holding and oversees entertainment television channels.
Her husband, Vasily Brovko, who works as Director for Special Assignments at Rostec, earns four times less.

On her 24-year-old son, Leo Kandelaki, Tina Kandelaki registered a 342-square-meter penthouse in the “Krylatskaya Panorama” residential complex. She also secured him a job: her son hosts a morning news show on TNT, and together with his mother, he is turning the channel from entertainment into propaganda.
