The author of the "Voevoda Speaks" channel has reappeared online after reports of his suicide

The administrator of the military Telegram channel “Voevoda Speaks,” Ka-52 pilot Alexey Zemtsov (call sign “Voevoda”), who had been believed to have died by suicide, has “reappeared.” He showed up in a new video, unshaven and disheveled.

It turned out that Voevoda did not want to return to pre-trial detention over the beating of his wife’s lover, so he fabricated a story about his own suicide — claiming that his body was supposedly already somewhere and there was no need to search for him alive.

In the new video, he says that friends and family persuaded him not to go through with it, and that he now plans to “go through pre-trial detention and then return to fighting.”

It is worth recalling that previously he had also been “sent to the special military operation” from detention, but in reality ended up at training courses in the Belgorod region. In this latest video, he did not mention what happened to the folder of compromising material on Russian Aerospace Forces Deputy Commander Vladimir Kravchenko, which he had earlier promised to leave next to his body.
